Erika Rademacher, MMS, PA-C

Erika Rademacher
Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant - Jacksonville
(904) 245-8982 erademac@nova.edu

Professor Rademacher graduated with honors from Duke University and completed her PA training at Methodist University where she earned a Master of Medical Science degree and was inducted into Pi Alpha. After graduation, she worked as a PA in cardiothoracic surgery, pulmonary medicine, and emergency medicine. While she enjoyed all these specialties, her favorite role was working as a neurosurgery PA at a busy Level II Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. It was in this position that she had an opportunity as Team Lead to develop a formal onboarding program to train a group of new-graduate PAs who joined the practice. This is what sparked her enthusiasm for teaching medicine.

Her interests outside medicine include music, reading, painting, and spending time with her spouse and with her two cats. She enjoys going to the beach to watch the birds and look for unusual shells.

Professor Rademacher is excited to be part of the faculty at the Nova Southeastern PA Program in Jacksonville, and to share her passion for medicine with the students.
