Student Government Association

Student Government Association

Hello NSU PCHCS family,

I am so excited to serve you as your PCHCS Student Government President for the 2022-2023 school year. As President, I am humbled to be working with the various programs housed in our college, as well as being able to work with the Regional campuses throughout Florida and the new Anesthesiology Assistant program in Denver, Colorado.

What is SGA and how do we help the PCHCS community? We are the presidents for each distinct program representing our fellow Sharks within the college. I strongly recommend getting involved for all the opportunities this position may bring. We are here to help the college develop a sense of community, and to help support one another with various event on campus, as well as giving back to the community. Just like the medical field, it takes a team to make things run efficiently, and could not do it without the help of my fellow presidents. As president, I also sit on the PanSGA to listen and bring up concerns at the University level.

As representatives of the Student Government Association at NSU-PCHCS, we are dedicated to ensuring our student body has a voice heard and represented in the NSU community. To achieve this, your SGA and Program Association Presidents devote time to trying to better NSU through our meetings as well as through various events on campus. Through the departments of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Anesthesiology Assistant, Audiology, Speech Language Pathology, Physician Assistant, Cardiovascular Sonography, Medical Sonography, and Respiratory Therapy we are here to represent you and to make sure we make your time here at NSU is enjoyable.

I encourage everyone to get involved if they would like to see a change in their college. Through this role, I have gained many life lessons that will carry with me throughout my time as a health care provider. I wish you all the utmost success in your journey here at NSU, and look forward to the great things we will all accomplish.
