Keely L. Cook is an Assistant Professor at the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences, Physician Assistant Program. PA Cook has more than three decades of experience as a practicing physician assistant as well as nearly a decade of experience as a former Saint Louis University Physician Assistant Program faculty member. Professor Cook has expertise in the fields of Cardiology/Electrophysiology, Gynecology, and Gastroenterology. She has held offices with both local and national PA organizations. She was a former American Academy of Physician Assistants House of Delegates representative and former President of the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants. She has published in the fields of dyslipidemia and fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS).
Professor Cook is dedicated to researching and utilizing new and innovative methods of teaching to ensure that physician assistant students graduate from NSU Florida as compassionate, ethical, and clinically excellent health care providers as well as lifelong learners.
PA Cook is a relative newcomer to Florida having moved to the state 3 years ago. She is married and has a 12-year-old dog named Zeus. She loves to scuba dive, run, and enjoy the diverse aquatic wildlife of Florida while boating.
