Professional DPT Program - Fort Lauderdale Campus

Application Procedures

The Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Nova Southeastern University participates in the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS) for admission. The PTCAS may take up to 6 weeks for verifying supporting documents. Therefore, early application is highly recommended.

To apply, follow the steps below:

  1. Complete the online PTCAS application between June 17 and December 16, 2024
  2. All official transcripts must be sent to PTCAS electronically or via mail at the address below:
    • PTCAS Transcript Processing Center
      P.O. Box 9112
      Watertown, MA 02471
  3. All official GRE scores must be sent to PTCAS utilizing the NSU school code of 7741

What happens after I apply?

Once your PTCAS application is verified, the Admissions Counselor will review your file for missing requirements and contact you if necessary. Applications that meet our requirements are then reviewed by the DPT Admissions Committee.

Interviews are not required; however, we reserve the right to request a phone or virtual call if indicated. A request to discuss your application should not be construed as evidence of acceptance.

NSU will begin notifying applicants of their admissions decision via email beginning in mid-December. Due to processing times and holiday closures, applications received in December may not receive a decision until January.

Contact Danielle White, Admissions Counselor at (954) 262-1121 or dw1396@nova.edu with any questions.
