Dr. Garcia is a feeding, swallowing and craniofacial speech-language pathologist who has worked in the acute care setting, outpatient settings, and transition to home clinics. Her clinical interests include adult dysphagia, upper airway disorders, infant feeding, neonatal care, velopharyngeal dysfunction, clinician burnout, and caregiver burden. She is the course director for SLP 6070 Research Methods, SLP 6053 Pediatric Feeding and Motor Speech Disorders, and SLP 6057 Medical Aspects of Communication Disorders.
