Teaching
Dr. Massad teaches in in the Neuromuscular Systems, Clinical Skills, and Applied Clinical Decision Making in the entry-level DPT program. She also services a clinical instructor during Integrated Clinical Experiences in the NSU outpatient clinic and local skilled nursing facilities. Additionally, she teaches in Neurologic PT Residency curriculum.
Scholarly Activities and Research Interests
Dr. Massad’s research interests include interprofessional education, neurological rehabilitation, wheelchair seating and positioning, and adaptive fitness.
Service
Dr. Massad is a board member of the Spinal Cord Injury Support Group of South Florida. She also participates in community balance screenings, adaptive sports wellness, and alumni engagement.
Areas of Practice
Dr. Massad practices at Nova Southeastern University's outpatient therapy clinic working primarily with neurologic patients. She is also a clinical mentor and coordinator of the NSU Neurologic PT Residency Program.
Professional Activity
Dr. Massad has been an APTA member since 2009 and is a current member of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, and the Florida Consortium of Clinical Educators.
