Dr. Harcourt has been ABPTS Board Certified in Sports Physical Therapy since 2011 and has been an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor since 2010. Dr. Harcourt is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Ola Grimsby Institute since 2011. She also has training and expertise in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation and instrumented assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).

Dr. Harcourt transitioned to full-time faculty with NSU in 2019. She is the assigned lead instructor for Clinical Skills I (PHTT 6710), Physical Agents (PHTT 6815) and Systems I (PHTT 6741) & II (PHTT 6761) Management. She has also served as lab instructor for NSU Tampa from 2016 – 2019 holding lab instructor roles in Clinical Anatomy (PHTT 5610), Biomechanics (PHTT 6715), and Musculoskeletal I (PHTT 6810/L), II (PHTT 6820/L), and III (PHTT 6821/L). Dr. Harcourt was honored with the Florida Consortium of Clinical Educators Physical Therapy Outstanding Clinical Instructor of the Year for 2018-2019.
Dr. Harcourt’s scholarly activities are developing, however, interests include education research specific to the on-line learning environment as well as best practices for concussion management and orthopedic physical therapy, wellness models, complex pain and interdisciplinary approach.
Dr. Harcourt has experience with many different patient populations primarily in the out-patient setting. She spent several years in leadership as an out-patient clinic manager. Her primary areas of practice expertise include orthopedics, sports and musculoskeletal physical therapy, as well as patients with vestibular dysfunction, balance impairments, functional limitations due to neurological conditions as well as concussion management. Dr. Harcourt continues to practice pro bono through the Shark Motion Clinic serving under-insured and uninsured people in Tampa Bay.
