Teaching  

Lauren Goforth, P.T., D.P.T. joined the Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) core faculty at Nova Southeastern University's Tampa Bay Regional Campus in 2022. Prior to joining the core faculty, Goforth was a graduate, previous lab assistant, and adjunct faculty for Nova Southeastern University's Tampa Bay D.P.T. program. Her teaching responsibilities include clinical skills 1 and 2, physical agents, and pelvic health topics within the musculoskeletal course work.

Scholarly Activities and Interests

Goforth’s scholarly areas of interest include educational research relating to evidence-based learning practices within a blended teaching model as well as clinical research relating to pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy.

Areas of Practice

Goforth’s primary areas of practice include orthopedics, sports, pelvic health, and obstetric physical therapy in the out-patient setting. She spent several years in a leadership position as a multi-facility clinic director and continues to practice in the out-patient setting and pro bono through the Shark Motion Clinic.    

Professional Activity  

Goforth is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
