Education:
Professor Reynolds joined Nova Southeastern University as full-time faculty in August 2024 as an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant Program. Prior to joining as faculty, she participated in the program as a guest lecturer and as an adjunct professor.
Originally from Michigan, Professor Reynolds received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology, graduating cum laude from Central Michigan University. She completed her PA training at Central Michigan University graduating in 2011 as class president. Following graduation, she practiced as a hospitalist PA for nearly 10 years in Northern Michigan and has also practiced clinically in post-acute care/rehabilitation and urology. During her time as a hospitalist, she participated as a preceptor for PA students during their clinical rotations in internal medicine. She has served on the executive board for the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants as a regional representative and is currently a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Associates.
Professor Reynolds and her family moved to the Jacksonville area in 2022 where she and her husband are now raising their two children. In addition to being a mom and PA, she enjoys reading, knitting, and playing video games. She is thrilled to be joining the inspiring faculty at NSU and feels incredibly privileged to be contributing to the future success of the next generation of PAs through their education.
