Dana Haimo, MMS, PA-C

Professor Dana Haimo joined the Nova Southeastern University PA program faculty in October 2022 and began as Clinical Director in January 2023. She was born and raised in Florida and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Nova Southeastern University.  As a Dual Admit student, she attended the Nova Southeastern University Fort Lauderdale Physician Assistant Program and graduated with her Master of Medical Science degree in August 2010.  She has been working as a certified Physician Assistant in Dermatology for over 12 years.   

She has served on the board for the Alpha Eta National Honor Society of Allied Health Professions as well as on the NSU Health Professions Division Board of Governors.  She has been a preceptor in Dermatology and enjoys mentoring the students during their educational journey.   

Dana enjoys spending time with her husband and children as well as being with friends, outdoor activities, and traveling.
