Professor Kaitlin Abers joined Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant Program full time in January 2024 after practicing as adjunct faculty for two years.
Kaitlin is a local Floridian who attended Florida State University and is an Alumni of Nova Southeastern University.
She graduated FSU in 2012 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and completed her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at NSU in 2014.
Kaitlin has been practicing full-time for ten years with experience in Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Trauma, and Urgent Care.
During her time as adjunct, Kaitlin loved interacting with the students and being able to bring clinical practice back to the classroom. She is passionate about medicine, the human body, health, science, and comprehensive care to her patients. Kaitlin is excited to provide a supportive learning environment.
In her free time Kaitlin loves to spend time being active, weekly beach runs with her Fiancé, enjoying time with family and friends, traveling, and, of course, her pup, Henley.
