Dr. King is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (B.A., 1977), the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (M.A. History, 1979), the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (B.S. Chemistry; B.A. Biology, 1992), and the University of South Florida (Ph.D. Neuroscience, Biology, 2000). At USF, he collaboratively investigated an early transgenic model of Alzheimer’s disease. Since 2002, Dr. King has taught Anatomy and Physiology at NSU in the College of Medical Sciences, College of Nursing, and the College of Health Care Sciences Physician Assistant Program.
