Dr. Emilie Kean has been a practicing Occupational Therapist for 5 years with a vast range of clinical experience in adults. Her areas of expertise include acute care, multitrauma, neurological and orthopedic conditions. She is also a member for the rehab team for the NSU Neuroscience Institute ALS Clinic. Dr. Kean is a graduate of the NSU OTD program at the Tampa Bay campus. She has been a part of the MOT and OTD adjunct faculty since 2019 and has enjoyed working with students and mentoring them through their development as future OTs. Dr. Kean is looking forward to the transition to full time academia while still maintaining clinical practice in a variety of areas. She achieves her occupational balance by spending time with her husband and two small children.
