Education:
Dr. Braunius has been a practicing Occupational Therapist for the past 13 years with experience treating across the lifespan from Infants to Older Adults. Her expertise spans early intervention, acute care trauma, neurodevelopmental and neurological disorders and most recently, hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. In addition, Dr. Braunius has been a part of entry level Occupational Therapy education since 2012 and enjoys building relationships with students as they make the transition to clinical practice. Her interests include increasing the use of occupation-based treatment in hand therapy, self-advocacy in individuals with disabilities and how to foster relationships with students to reduce stress and improve the educational experience. Dr. Braunius achieves work-life balance through spending time with family, travel, and fitness.
