Danielle Barber has practiced occupational therapy for 10 years. Her clinical practice work encompasses the lifespan in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings. Her specialty practice areas include neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, and driving rehabilitation. She joined Nova Southeastern University Master of Occupational Therapy Program as an adjunct faculty member in 2018 and as Assistant Professor in 2020. She holds a BS and MOT from Florida International University. Her areas of interests include advocacy for non-traditional practice, executive functioning across the lifespan, the competence of the healthcare worker in addressing cognitive-perceptual skills, and mental health.
