Elizabeth Swann, Ph.D., ATC, LAT

Originally from Burbank, California, Elizabeth Swann received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Texas State University in San Marcos. She obtained her Master of Arts in Sports Management from the University of Texas at Austin and a doctorate in administration and teaching at the University of Southern Mississippi. Swann also serves as a column editor for Athletic Therapy Today, a journal for certified athletic trainers and athletic therapists that publishes reports on sports-health-care techniques and reviews of current research and issues in the athletic training community.
