Dr Hoffberger after completing his undergraduate degree in Biology at Washington University in St Louis, received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University. He later trained in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University‐Botsford General Hospital. He then completed advanced fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Lung Transplant at the University of South Florida. Following this he has been practicing here in South Florida in private practice for the past ten years. He is very active at Broward Health‐North, for which he has been honored as Most Valuable Physician twice and has held numerous leadership positions. He currently is the Chief of Staff and is the acting Medical Director of the Respiratory Department and the Sleep Disorder Center. He remains Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine; and also is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians.
