Dr. Seavor began her nursing career as a surgical nurse and operating room manager before continuing her education and refocusing on becoming a nurse educator and administrator in higher education. Carol has been a nursing faculty member in several BSN, MSN and Doctoral nursing programs as well as Chair of Nursing (Fitchburg State, St. Josephs College, Charleston Southern University), Associate Dean of Nursing (University of Tennessee Knoxville) and Dean of Nursing (Ashford College, GA). She retired in 2010 as President Emeritus after serving eight years as President of Jefferson College of Health Sciences (JCHS) in Roanoke, VA. She has served in other appointments have included President of Our Lady of the Lake College, Dean of Nursing of Pacific Lutheran College, Chair of Nursing at St. Joseph’s College, and Consultant and Founding Dean of Nursing at Southern University of New Orleans.
