Ms. Mendez-Silva is a teacher at Broward County Public School. She has been working in the school system for 15 years, teaching elementary, middle, and high school. She is currently working at Western High School teaching American Sign Language as a foreign language course.

Additionally, Ms. Mendez-Silva is working at Nova Southeastern University as an adjunct professor. She is thrilled to teach American Sign Language at her alma mater.

Ms. Mendez-Silva loves to spend time with her two young children and frequents Disney. She also enjoys traveling and watching Broadway shows with her husband.
