Teaching
Dr. Otto teaches in the Professional DPT program and serves as faculty for Clinical Practicums/ Integrated Clinical Education experiences.

Scholarly Activities and Research Interests
Dr. Otto primary research interest are in student development of critical thinking skills and application in the clinical setting. Dr. Otto research interest is also in application of cultural competence in clinical practice.

Service
Dr. Otto is involved in community health fairs and various events that promote health and physical fitness. Dr. Otto is a member of the MWU Diversity Council which educates and supports students and faculty in an online and in-person format, as it relates to issues of diversity.

Areas of Practice
Dr. Otto primary area of specialty is orthopedics. Dr. Otto has varied experiences in inpatient and outpatient settings including wound care, burn care, vestibular therapy, neonatal intensive care unit, neurological, and orthopedic care.

Professional Activity
Dr. Otto is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Section member of Orthopedics and Education.
