Chand Shah
Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant - Jacksonville
(904) 245-8983 cshah@nova.edu

Professor Shah received her undergraduate degree in Genetics from Rutgers University and completed her PA training at the University of Florida. After graduating with a Master in Physician Assistant Studies, she worked in Pediatric Orthopedics in Jacksonville, FL and Austin, TX. She also worked in Pediatric Infectious Disease for a short period. Her passion for education started while she served as a preceptor and guest lecturer for Nova Southeastern University and the University of Florida. She later decided to pursue education full time to mentor and encourage a new generation of PAs to become great clinicians while taking care of themselves.

Outside of medicine, Professor Shah enjoys working out (especially running), spending time with her fiancé, traveling, hiking, cooking new recipes, and reading. Since her return back to Jacksonville, she has been very excited to spend time at the beach.

Professor Shah is honored and eager to guide the next generation of physician assistants.
