The Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Fort Lauderdale, FL program is a four-year clinical professional doctoral program. In addition to completing a rigorous academic curriculum, students complete clinical experiences in a variety of settings. The final year of the program is a clinical externship.

The department is currently accepting students for admission.

Your application for admissions can be submitted from September through the following April, electronically. Applications are reviewed beginning in November and continue through March. Preference is given to completed applications received by February 15.

Professional Licensure Disclosure Statement:  Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences, Doctor of Audiology program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE) and the Council of Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).  At this time, we have determined the Doctor of Audiology program of the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences meets the educational degree completion requirements for licensure in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the US protectorates, as defined in 34 CFR §600.2.  

It is strongly encouraged that students, applicants, and prospective students, determine any additional (i.e. non-educational) requirements for licensure in the state in which they seek to be licensed.
