Doctor Olivencia received his bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of California Davis, and a Master Degree in Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). He recently received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in 2012.
Dr. Olivencia is the course leader for Clinical Applications of Anatomy (PHT 5610) and Exercise Physiology (PHT 6705). He is also the course co-leader for the Musculoskeletal courses at the NSU Entry Level DPT program: PHT 6810, PHT 6820, and PHT 6821.
Scholarly Activities and Interests
Dr Olivencia research interest lies in the field of Orthopedics and Exercise Physiology. His clinical interest resides in the areas of lower extremities and cranial mandibular disorders. In addition, Dr Olivencia also publishes and presents on various topics related to exercise physiology and orthopedics.
Areas of Practice
Dr Olivencia is currently involved at NSU as a practicing clinician in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic. He is also involved as a Clinical Instructor for the courses of Tier 1A (PHT 6706), Tier 1B (PHT 6811),Tier 1C (PHT 6831), and Tier 1D (PHT 6841).
