Dr. Canbek’s primary research interests are validation of functional performance-based outcome measures in people with stroke; determining meaningful change on outcome measures in people with neurological dysfunction; instructional methods for developing clinical decision making skills in entry-level PT students.


Dr. Canbek serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Balance and Falls Team at NSU

Clinical Practice

Dr. Canbek treats patients at the PT clinic on the NSU campus. She is also currently developing clinical residency programs in neurology and orthopedics at NSU.
