Professor Bolden joined the faculty at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Health Care Sciences in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in June 2013 as an Assistant Professor and in September 2016 was appointed Academic Director. She is a native of Fort Lauderdale where she has worked as a Physician Assistant in Internal medicine. She has provided inpatient and outpatient care to the residents of Broward County, and had the unique opportunity to work in the hospital where she was born. She has also worked in urgent care, worker’s compensation, and family practice.
Professor Bolden has also trained and served as clinical research investigator and research study coordinator for several pharmaceutical companies.
Professor Bolden graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a Bachelor’s degree in science. She went on to the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she earned a Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant. In 2017 she completed her MPH degree from NSU.
Professor Bolden is a member of AAPA and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
On a personal note, she is the founder of a South Florida book club, and enjoys reading, cooking, golfing, and travelling. She currently resides in Broward County with her husband and son.
