Jessica Bermudez joined the Physician Assistant Program at NSU Fort Lauderdale in January 2018 as the Clinical Support Coordinator. She coordinates clinical rotations for the second year PA students.
Jessica grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia and moved to the United States in 1999. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She earned her Associate of Science in Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where she graduated as a Magna Cum-Laude and was nominated for best Graphic Design Portfolio. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human and Health Services Administration. Jessica has been a Florida Notary Public since 2010. Her employment background includes more than 15 years in an administrative role in diverse professional areas. From assistant manager at a retail store to being a 4-40 Licensed Homeowners and Commercial Insurance Underwriter.
On a personal note, she currently resides in Broward County with her husband and 3 kids. Her hobbies include Pilates, watersports and painting. She also loves cooking for family and friends. Fun fact: Her family volunteers for the YATC Cool Wheels Car Show every year (Jim Moran’s Youth Automotive Training Center Of Broward, Inc.).
