Dr. Simoes received her Master degree in Exercise Physiology from University of Miami in 2003 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2006.
Dr. Simoes completed the APTA’s Clinical Instructional Education and Credentialing Program is a credentialed Clinical Instructor. She has also completed a post-graduation course in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo, CA in 2008.

Dr. Simoes clinical research interest is in the area of interventions for patients with neurological disorders.
Areas of Practice
Dr. Simoes’ primary practice background includes experience with Biofeedback and Functional electrical stimulation for patients with neurological disorders; sub-acute rehab with experience on a variety of diagnosis but emphasis on neurological diagnosis; and outpatient setting with emphasis on geriatric population and neurological diagnosis.
