Natalee Covitz, MMS, PA-C

Professor Covitz joined the NSU PA faculty in January 2017.  A true South Florida native, she grew up in Hollywood and attended FAU for undergraduate studies where she earned her degree in Biology/Pre-Medical studies.  She then moved on to NSU for PA school, graduating in 2007.   For the past 10 years, since graduating PA school, she has been practicing in a busy Family Medicine practice with an emphasis on Geriatrics and End-of-Life care.  While practicing, she has had the opportunity to precept for other schools and professions, driving her eagerness to move into academics.   She continues to practice her passion with Geriatrics as well. 

During her free time, Professor Covitz enjoys spending family fun time with her 2 children, Austin and Janet, and her husband, John.  Anything from board games to baseball games to Disney, as long as it’s family time, its precious time!
